Norway is the only country in the world that has fully digitized national radio. When the last FM-signals switches of in desember, a long journey was completed and the transition to DAB as broadcasting plattform a fact. What now? Is Norwegian radio in a better shape for the future? At Radiodays Europe Digitalradio Norge will publish the official report on the Norwegian switch over and the major broadcasters will let you in on their sight for the future and how to shape radio in the years to come.

On Sunday we will also be hosting an afternoon workshop where you will be given a in-depth presentation of the switchover and the lessons learned. The Radio.no team has led the switchover operation and will give you the dos – the donts – and the success of going digital. And together with you and the Norwegian digital only broadcasters, put down the essentials of how Europe should move forward – in getting radio fit for the future. Registration opens in January, but make sure you plan to arrive Vienna early enough. The workshop is planned from 14:00 to 16:30.
